Apart from a bit of tinkering with Frozen Wheatgrass Juice, I am taking a year off from web developing to get on with intensive care medicine. I am studying for the JFICM primary exam in basic sciences. I have set up an exam resource page to help share ideas. Please get in touch, if you have anything to contribute especially if you can explain the differential Fick method of cardiac output measurement; or the fruit acid/base paradox for that mater. I'm also looking for an explanation as to why warfarin and low molecular weight heparins do not affect aPTT.
